Dear colleagues:
The XVI International Congress of Acarology (Auckland, New Zealand) is now within two months away. Many colleagues have registered and submitted either abstracts or full papers. Some colleagues are still waiting for travel approval from their institutions. At their requests, the Local Organizing Committee has extended the deadline for abstract and full paper submission to 15 October 2022. We ask that you submit abstracts as soon as possible as we need time to review and edit them, and we also need time to produce a good programme based on accepted presentations.
Only registered delegates can give oral and poster presentations and publish in the proceedings. One registered delegate is limited to two submissions as the main author or speaker (no limits to be co-author for presentations by others). Details about how to submit abstracts or full papers will be provided in the letter of receipt for registration. An abstract must be within one page (at most 600 words including title, author names and addresses, keywords and references if any). A full paper can be either a short “correspondence” (normally 2 to 4 pages) or normal article (up to 60 pages), and both can be original contributions or review papers. More information can be found here: https://ica2022.acarology.org/processings/
We have a new Conference Manager Ms Ashley Astells and a new dedicated email ica2022@auckland.ac.nz for general enquiries, registration and accommodation information, and official letter of invitation for travel.
I look forwarding to welcoming you in Auckland!
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee
Prof Zhi-Qiang Zhang
