Dear colleagues:
The XVI International Congress of Acarology (ICA), to be held in Auckland, New Zealand from 1 to 5 December 2022, is now only four months away. The discounted Early Bird registration will be available until 31 August 2022. We recommend that you arrive on 30 Nov. 2022 to allow time to prepare for the meetings.
We are pleased to confirm five keynote speakers as well as seven symposia in addition to ten regular sections (https://ica2022.acarology.org/our-schedule/). The deadline for proposing additional symposia or special workshop (ZhangZ@landcareresearch.co.nz) has been extended to 31 August 2022. Please include the title of the symposium/workshop, the names, and emails of at least two organizers, and the title and names of speakers of at least 3 presentations.
ICA2022 will award several Student Grants to assist with the registration and/or accommodation costs. Applicants need to provide a brief research statement and a letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor. Please send applications to the secretary of the Local Organizing Committee (m.a.minor@massey.ac.nz) by 31 August 2022.
