Student Grants
XVI International Congress of Acarology (1 to 5 December 2022; Auckland, New Zealand) will award several Student Grants to assist with the registration and/or accommodation costs. The former will provide a waiver of full registration fee, whereas the latter will provide student accommodation for five days at the costs of ICA organizers (checking in on 30 Nov. and checking out on 5 Dec 2022).
The ICA 2022 Student Grants are aimed at post-graduate students who are either currently enrolled or have obtained their degree no earlier than December 2021.
Grants will be awarded, on a competitive basis, to students from whom abstracts have been accepted for presentation. Each application will be judged on the excellence of the work being presented in a talk or poster. It is expected that the Student Grant recipient will attend the full conference.
Applicants need to provide a brief research statement and a letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor.
Applications must be received by the secretary of the Local Organizing Committee (m.a.minor@massey.ac.nz) by 31 August 2022.
